The Kindness Challenge by Shaunti Feldhahn

Image result for kindness challenge book

I can not say enough about this book. I am a Christian so I personally enjoyed doing this myself. I have an online Bible study group and I encouraged the members of our group to do the same. If you are not a Christian, that is your choice, You do not have to be a Christian to simply be kind to someone.  So, this book can still be for you. What Shaunti shows you are simple steps of how to help you improve any relationship with someone. Not only does she show you steps and a different outlook that what you may think, but she shows you how to change the way you look on them.
She also breaks it down for anyone day by day and simple quick steps you can do each day. At the end of the book, she goes a step further by showing husbands on improving their relationships with their wives and even shows them things to do each day for 30 days.  Wives, she does the same thing for you to show to your husbands. I must warn you, though, it is not easy to do. You have to really put an effort into this. I am halfway through the challenge and I have failed on many occasions to be completely honest. But things that are in this book has kept me keep trying and she prepared me for many things. It has taught me what true kindness really is and what true love means. I have also gone a step further by adding love is patient and broke down what God wants us to show what love is to everyone. Thank you, Shaunti for being obedient on doing the gift that God has given you and writing this book and showing us all being kind is not always what we think it is.
I received this book for  reviewing purposes in exchange for writing an unbiased review.

31 Verses to Write on Your Heart BY Liz Curtis Higgs

31 Verses to Write on Your Heart
BY Liz Curtis Higgs

I really liked this book. The way this author writes about her own things that has happened in her life, really gave me inspiration. As a Christian woman, I often find myself needing encouragement advice. Not only did this book do this but it also goes with scripture on the advice she gives with her stories.
The gift she has to break down the Bible verses that I already knew and explain them further is a God sent gift.
I really do believe God uses her to talk to his children to better understand his word. It is almost as if God is right there talking to you.
Most importantly you can use this as a morning devotional because it does not take a long time to read a page each day and I like to incorporate what I learned from God with his Word and the authors breakdown. It helps me understand Gods words in more in depth.
I received this  Book from Blogging For Books for free to give an unbiased review.
I was not required to leave a positive review but and honest one.

Image result for Miriam by Mesu Andrews reviews

MIRIAM BY MESU ANDREWS

This book is a paperback of 384 pages. Cover and illustration is very welcoming. One of my favorite covers of the books I have read so far. Mesu Andrews the author, I believe have 5 other novels, This is the first one that I have read of hers and I really like the way she puts you in perspective of the character of Miriam. I found myself thinking and looking at the wonderful story I have grown up to love in a new outlook. Not different or changed just a new way. I love it . Thank you for your wonderful God given gift Mesu Andrews, I am very thankful you are using that gift in your writing.

When I read this book I found myself being able to understand and live through the Old Testament stories of Moses and what he went through and felt as being a Hebrew slave, as well as him being the life of  the prince . I found myself feeling the emotions that all the characters must have felt. This author finds a way of bringing the stories to life with all the emotions without changing anything that in the precious book of the Holy Bible.

I am very impressed with this book and looking forward to reading another one of her novels.
I did receive this book for free from Blogging from Books in exchange of an honest review, I was not required to leave a positive review for this book but am happy to do so.

ALL IS BRIGHT
A devotional journey to color your way to Christmas
Written by NANCY GUTHRIE    Illustrated by Lizzie Preston

This coloring book is just simply adorable and would be a perfect Coloring book for ages above 6 years old. The reason I am stating over 6 is only due that I feel that younger than that children may get discouraged due to lines on some things be a lot smaller. But would be a perfect age to read and show to any age.
What I like the best about this coloring book is mainly because you can do more than just color..
It is also a devotional for you to study everyday for the month of December. Of how Christ came to this earth and how you can involve him in your life. Which is very important to me .

The pages are made of card stock which will stop from bleeding through. When I color I personally use a mixture of different things, such as, coloring pencils, markers and gel pens. With this coloring book I have not had a problem with any of those bleeding through the next page.

Another cute thing that makes this coloring book different is that you can make it just for yourself as a devotional or involve the whole family from very young to very old. There is a Bible study, Devotional , and activities for each day.
Nancy Guthrie did a fabulous job with the book and the illustrations from Lizzie Preston shows what a God given talent she has.  I am so thankful to both of these Ladies for creating this book. I can not wait to actually start it December 1st.
I received this  coloring book as a gift from Tyndale House Publishing and very thankful I was able to review this book and leave my own personal opinion. I am never required to leave a positive review.

SALVAGE YARD OF SOULS JUSTICE PREVAILS? JOYCE CAROL GIBSON

Salvage Yard of Souls: Justice Prevails? by [Gibson, Joyce Carol]

SALVAGE YARD OF SOULS  Justice Prevails??
 JOYCE CAROL GIBSON

I bought this book as a Ebook the day it became available.  Print copy will happen in the future. I must admit I could not put this book down. To be honest I was up till 4 am before I forced my self to put it down. I did not pick up the book until 2 days later only due to I had to get things done because if I picked up the book prior to doing daily duties that needed to be done they would be neglected.

The ebook is  565 Kb
Print copy will be 291 pages
Publisher is Brighton Publishing LLC;
Based on a true story.
So many feelings on this book after reading it. As soon as I finished the last word of the last chapter I instantly wanted to write a review.
The story is a true story. Everything in the book is true . Only the characters  and the descriptions have been altered. Honestly, I need to share something. It is hard for me to read a book , any book, without my mind starting to wander and go to other thoughts. It is very hard for me to concentrate. I end up having to reread things for it to go into my brain. I find it VERY hard to pay attention to things. I did not have this happen to me during this book except one time. That one time was during a part in the book when Toni, the main character was talking about her husband. It just brought up some memories of my dear friend and I during childhood.
One of my favorite parts of the book is where Toni recalls when she met Loretta Lynn. Here is a part of the book that I copied and pasted.

"One of my most memorial times recorded proved my naivety. I was fourteen years old and working in my grandfathers restaurant. I liked working there because I could listen to the jukebox. We weren't allowed to listen to the radio or watch television, but the jukebox helped business.
Loretta Lynn came in with her husband and their preschool twins. I enjoyed hearing Loretta sing, but I had never seen a picture of her. She was hosting a rodeo nearby. I did not know it was her when she gave me a quarter to play the jukebox."

The story goes more in detail of how they met that day. It made me stop and think how we all need to be reminded to often to have the eyes and heart of a child. Fourteen is still a child in my eyes.
There are so many things in this book that can people can relate to. Whether you are a male or female. Child or adult. Christian or an unbeliever. Member of crime or Member of the police force.
One thing is in common we seek for answers and justice
I felt emotions after reading this book that I never thought a heart could feel. You mourned for the pain Toni felt and Demi endured.  I wanted JUSTICE for them. Here is information that I copied and pasted from Amazon about the book.

Her unrelenting quest for justice in a corrupt system paves the road to Toni’s destruction. This is based on a true story of the injustices endured by a naïve jailer who subconsciously seeks resolve for crimes committed against her and her daughter in the early part of a bad marriage.

With a set distinction of right and wrong, and a stubborn will to never defer, Toni finds herself trying to police the police. After a decade of working at the sheriff’s department, Toni has recorded a plethora of wrongs by law-enforcement agents and the services for children. Because she knows too much, the sheriff and some of his followers diligently seek her fall.

What they do not know is that Toni has kept an ongoing journal since her teenage years. She carried a voice activated, mini-cassette tape recorder with her from the day she was interviewed for the job at the sheriff’s department.

Toni is harassed, arrested, and almost destroyed, but her attorney assures her that the journal is proof enough of the corruption, and evidence enough to win her case against the sheriff.

When the attorney turns on Toni, she is left with a decision to make. Physically and emotionally exhausted from the battle, defeated by politics, and spiritually wounded, will she seek justice on her own terms or will she allow God to have His vengeance? Her strong belief in God and her search for the right path has played an important part in her life so far. Forgiveness is essential, but so is justice. Is there a way to obtain both in the salvage yard of souls?

... Justice prevails?

Another thing I liked and thought was very interesting is, that  prior to each chapter there is a poem that has a relationship to what went on the chapter previously and the chapter you are getting ready to read.
I had the opportunity to talk with the author and got a quote from her. Below is this quote.
"This is a true story. EVERYTHING in this story is true. Only the names have been changed and the descriptions of characters.' That is a quote from the Author Joyce Carol Gibson.

I found myself having a respect for the character of Toni. Toni has more strength than I believe she may know or realize. Toni became an inspiration to me. I have gained a respect for this character that I think we all can learn from. Demi her daughter has taught me the true meaning of forgiveness.
Most importantly this story has taught me the true meaning of hope and faith. How Trusting in God can and will change your life and like Job in the bible. .. Keep your eyes on the Lord and you will be able to endure anything.
The cover does the book justice in my eyes, because it does bring your attention knowing immediately that the story is about justice and at least a crime. It did bring me to me interested to at least read what the story is about. For those that do know me know I am not a reader that just reads any kind of genre of book. I like true crime, autobiography's, and Christian books.

If you find yourself wanting to know more you can read the first 3 chapters for free before buying the book. I would love to know your ideas on this book and what you may think about it. As always I welcome comments.

I highly enjoyed reading this book. I look forward to read the next book that Joyce Carol Gibson will write . Or who knows maybe this will be the next movie or tv drama..
Cant wait to see the future of the author.

Are you up for the challenge? If you are not, it may not be simply a matter of willpower.

As requested by a follower and a reader here is some more information about the Daniel Diet. Best information is from the Bible.

I have included the verses in the bible that shows where I got this information.
Daniel 1:12-14 ( which I do ask to get your bibles and read that verses. )
Basically,  Daniel is making a deal with the eunuch of King Nebuchadnezzar that him and his 3 friends will not eat meat that is sacrificed to idols of their god. and they will eat vegetables that are produced by seeds and produce seeds as well for 10 days. After 10 days they were in better condition than the men that ate the meat sacrificed to their god. For that reason Daniel and his men were allowed to continue.

As far as the fast  according to Daniel 10:2-3
In those days, I , Daniel, was mourning for 3 weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, not did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

The three weeks Daniel is referring to is the Passover of Unleavened Bread. Which takes place in the first month of the Year.

The purpose of the fast is up to you. It can be used as a fasting to cleanse your mind, body, and soul and between you and God. When you fast for that reason you are not to let anyone know what and why you are doing. I recommend this because it will build your relationship with God closer and taking your eyes off the things in the world and trust God completely.

Another purpose could be to cleanse your body. Doing this you will not eat certain foods for a certain amount of time. I personally did this for 21 days and I only ate things that came from the seed, You will have to get creative . You will have to read the directions and as far as seasoning your foods you may but no additional preservatives  or coloring can be added. So it is impartive that you read the directions. The book I have on my blog for review will explain all you need to know along with some great ways of cooking things.

Doing the Daniel Diet is fairly basic and easy.
Nuts, berries , vegetables, all natural, No preservatives, no coloring, no added anything that is not produced by seed. You can use olive oil as long as it is pure.
Can only drink water to flush out the toxins.
However sometimes not everyday I would make a berry smoothie and use water and pure juice I would squeeze.
As always result to the Bible for more information and there are several books and more resources are available online.
If you have further questions or want further information I would be happy to put my input. Just comment below.

Having A Marhta Home the Mary Way by Sarah Mae

Having Martha Home The Mary Way
31 days to clean a house and a satisfied soul

Sarah Mae

This is not your average cleaning and organizing book. This has nothing to do with physical cleaning. It is more so, to clean your mind and your home to be filled with love and welcoming God's grace and peace to be around you as well as be felt around you.

I struggled with this in my life and I can defiantly relate to things Sarah states in this book. I like to believe the author had went though the same struggles that I went through to be able to truly understand how I myself would see things and needed encouragement to get through the obstacles that was thrown in my way.
This book helped me , along with my Bible , to get through that.

Sarah Mae is a christian as well and the way she encourages others is so inspiring to want to do the same thing. I am so thankful for her perspective. She has a great gift that God gave her to help others.

I was never organized in anything and not the best housekeeper to be honest. After reading this book and not even meaning to I applied things that was given into this book and applied it to my cleaning and my life. I am not organized and happy.
I learned that you can clean your home inside and out , along with cleaning your mind with your bible studies and you will find joy and peace that you never realized you lived without.

Each day Sarah writes about a different thing about cleaning in a way that you can relate and it seems just like two girls sharing stories.

I must admit that you will put this to your way of doing things before you know it.

I received a copy of this book for reviewing purposes only. I read this book and the review is soley based on my personal opinions of this book. My words are my own and are uninfluenced and unbiased to any discount that may have been given. I did receive a copy of this book for free.

THe Daniel Fast For Weight Loss By Susan Gregory

DANIEL FAST FOR WEIGHT LOSS BY SUSAN GREGORY.

The Daniel fast is a biblical diet meant to promote health and encourage weight loss through healthy eating. It's modeled after the vegetarian eating regimen of biblical prophet Daniel during his fast. People typically follow it for 21 days to get a jump start on weight loss. The way you lose weight on the Daniel fast is by lowering your calorie intake.

I have tried this and  I must say it works . I must warn you it is a lifestyle change . I never knew how much more energy I have after cleansing myself with all processed crap that is out there. I no longer have a craving for fast food and sodas. To top it off I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks.

This book is filled with everything you will need from motivation to recipes.

I did do it just a bit different than what the book suggests only because I want to use this everyday for me to use and create healthy habits I know I will keep.
The things I did differently is this and kept a lot the same.
I slacked out on red meats but eat fish salmon and tilapia mostly.
I eliminated all added preservatives and natural coloring ect.
I do not eat any fast food except subway.
I only eat things that come from seed and yes you can flavor and cook them. Just with natural spices and herbs.
It is very similar to a vegetarian diet but with fish and shell fish on special occasions.
When I use this as a fast I eliminate all meat and yeast.
I  must say if you stick to it you will feel healthier than ever /
I also added essential oils and meditation  to my daily life
along with bible study.
I received  a complementary copy of The Daniel Fast for Weight Loss by Susan Gregory  compliments of Tyndale House Publishing for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation aside from a free copy of this book for my review and the opinions are strictly my own.

I highly recommend this book for anyone if you are going to diet or change your life why not do it the way God intended to to happen in my personal opinion?

The Daily Walk Bible KJV

My family and I ordered this book using my Tyndale Reward points to read the bible in a year together. I am so thankful for receiving this bible. It is paperback which I prefer.
The way it is set up makes it very simple to know where to start  and what day you are on.  It also gives small side inserts of many things to think about and apply it to your day or life.
I do verse mapping as well .
I started a journal to write my notes and explain what happened in the chapter in my words. ALso what I searched and found in the internet.
At the end of the week it gives you a looking back as to what you have learned.
I was taught such a lesson. I have read many different verision of Bibles and have read it through before. So when I go to start in Genesis I was like .. I know all about this God created the earth in 7 days..
So thatnkful for the mighty God we serve to have a sence of patience with me and humour. I have learned more than I have in my life just because I took the time to listen to what the spirit was trying ot teach and show me. I may have had lots of knowledge but found out I did not have much wisdom. In order to get wisdom you can only get it through The Holy Spirit. I am continuing to read this and I am in Exodus now . I do not go by a day by day so to speak but that is just what I do.
For those that feel like they do not have time to do this you are mistaken.
The way this bible is set up you only need to set apart 25 minutes of your time. In my opinion that is not much. and with our busy lives we can and should set apart the 10% of our daily lives each day for God >. Considering 10% is his anyways.
I highly recommend this Bible whether you do your journaling or not.
I received this Bible for free using the Tyndale Reward Points on their site.

Every Little Thing: A Flat Vernacular Coloring Book Paperback – November 3, 2015 by Payton Cosell Turner

Every Little Thing: A Flat Vernacular Coloring Book Paperback – November 3, 2015 by Payton Cosell Turner

The pages are made from thick card stock so do you not have to worry about your gel pens or markers bleeding through.
The cover is inviting with bright colors and having the option to color the cover and inner covers too is pretty cool.
The artist is Payton Cosell Turner is a part of Flat Vernacular, a Brooklyn-based wallpaper studio.
Throughout the book it is a bit different, kinda like a kaleidoscope style. It is not my favorite style. My personal preference is more of a traditional style. Either way it is a cute book with lots of animals and designs to color and have your imagination soar.

Image result for every little thing coloring book
Overall I give this book a 4 star rating. Well worth spending your endless time going into the world of coloring. The reason I did not give this a 5 star is there are several pages that the author colored in certain parts of the book. I think it takes away from the whole point of a coloring book. I do not like to have my choice taken away from me of what I want to color.

Five traits of a Christ-follower by Doug Nuenke

Five traits of a Christ-follower by Doug Nuenke
This is a cute pocket-sized paperback book that you can carry almost anywhere. Instead of chapters like most books have you have Traits. There are 5 traits explained in this book, Under each trait is more explanation of what each trait is . Pretty clever I think. There is so much knowledge put together in this 79 paged little book. Here are a few inserts to give you an idea.
Fruits of Living with Jesus
_______Joe Brown
I am the vine: you are the branches. Those who remain in me , and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.  JOHN 15:5 NLT

THERE'S A DIFFERENCE, in our world today, between calling yourself a Christian and being connected to Christ. As a young Christian I memorized John 14;21.

Interested now???? I thought so . After I read the first part of the book that is above. I could not put the book down. I must admit When I first got this in the mail I was a bit disappointed by the size of the book. I personally like bigger books and that are hardback. But I do not need to give this book a bad review based on my personal preferences. There are so many ways you can apply this book and learn from it in your life along with the most important book of all of course is the Bible.  Each sub chapter is not but 2 pages so it does not take but just a few minutes to read. I found myself applying them to my everyday life. The Bible is your Main meal but this book is such a great snack to eat throughout the day.
Five traits were so simple to apply I really enjoyed this book.
First trait is  Walking with Jesus
Second trait is :Knowing and Living the Scriptures
Third Trait is Participating in the Community

If you are finding yourself wondering what the other 2 traits are then you need to get his book.
Under each trait goes more into detail and scriptures put so simple that pretty much if you can read it you can apply it. You find yourself doing it on your own.
I really enjoyed the Five Traits of a Christ Follower and belive that everyone should have this book to their own library. Would even be a great gift to add to your visits to sick family members . Bring it with you and read it on everyday trips to the bus. It will change your way of viewing your outlook.
Another insert of the book I will share with you is below
If we're going to win people to know Christ, then let's win people.

The end of the book is where you get a list of contributors and gives a bit of interesting facts of the person
The Author Dr. Doug Neunke serves as the Navigator's U.S. president. He is passionate about helping his friends to know Jesus and to help others know him. He enjoys developing leaders who reflect the Lord Jesus, and he loves to fish--- for people and trout.

MR. HUMBLEBRAG BY DAN ZEUIR

MR. HUMBLEBRAG
BY DAN ZEUIN

I was a little shocked when I got this book. I thought that it was for children.. So when I found it it was not I was a little disappointed. But I can not  post a bad review due to me misunderstanding. So here it goes. This would be great for a gag gift or someone that has a sense of humor. I would not recommend this book for kids. It does not have cuss words but the nature of the book is just not my personal cup of tea. The illustrations are more on the kid like tone but made for adults. I received this book at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review... I received this book from Blogging from books.

GOD GAVE US SLEEP BY LISA TAWN BERGREN

GOD GAVE US SLEEP BY LISA TAWN BERGREN

This is such an adorable story. It starts off with momma bear calling baby bear to come in and sleep. Baby bear would rather build an igloo. Of course when baby bear is in the bed.. There are a lot of questions. As most of "our" baby bears do when it is time for bedtime, baby bear in this story tries everything he can think of to stay awake .. glass of water.. bathroom.... read story and another story....

Here is an insert from the book I thought was cute.

"Aren't you going to pray?
"Of course, " Mama said, touching her nose to the Little Cub's
"For a good night's sleep."

Then Baby bear is scared he might a bad scary dream. Mama shares the importance of that's why we pray for good dreams and good rest.

Another insert of the book

" No matter what happens tonight, Little Cub,"
Mama said, " remember that God is the Maker of imagination -- where our dreams come from. He can give you a good sleep."4

The story goes on and baby bear finds the importance of what a good night sleep does for you the  next day.
I like the way the author does not address whether Baby Bear is a boy or girl. That way this book is for either sex. It is a hardback book and easy for little ones to read. There is no age limit on this book. Pictures are very inviting and the cover is adorable.
I gave this 5 star. very cute and can not wait till I have grandchildren of my own to read it too since my children are grown.
I received this book from Blogging for Books for an honest review of this book

BATHSHEBA RELUCTANT BEAUTY BY ANGELA HUNT **** ONE OF MY FAVS

Bathsheba_Design

BATHSHEBA RELUCTANT BEAUTY   BY ANGELA HUNT

Way to go to author Angela Hunt!!! You did a fantastic job bringing the biblical characters to life.

This is one of my favorite books I have read. If you like books that you get lost into where you feel what the characters feel and don't want to put the book down this one is for you. The book is written in first tense in a way its almost like an autobiography. The chapters are not in number form as most books are. Each chapter either has the name Bathsheba or Nathan. Whosoever name it is will be who is speaking for that chapter, may sound a bit confusing but it is very easily determined.

The author really brought this story to life. We all know the story of David and Bathsheba. I thought I did after reading this book I realized i forgotten some things or never really thought much about it. I reread the story in my bible and saw what was written in this book feel exactly what is written in the Bible. The only 2 things I couldn't find was King David having red hair and Where Bathsheba' s nickname for their son Solomon. Other than that everything is spot on.
Everyone wants to put so much blame on Bathsheba but what did she do exactly? She was bathing as most woman did after their menstrual cycle she did not know a man yet alone the king was watching her.  The king did summon her and forced her to come to his room. People tend to forget you did not say no to a King back then in fear of being killed. So what option did she have but to do as she was told.King David in fact raped her unfortunately.

We as Christians tend to forget that a lot of people that we look up to and read about did do bad things. as Christians today do the same but God can and will forgive them.
You feel and learn how Bathsheba felt, See the story unfold through her eyes without anything being changed that what was told in the old testament. It is just brought to a more simpler form to where almost any age can read. When it changes to what the prophet Nathan saw and did his visions. You can see them and feel and yearn to know what will happen next. While reading this book, I found myself wanting to keep reading so I would know what happened, even though I know the story have read it many times but not in this context. I got so involved which resparked me wanting to reread the story in the bible. Great Job Angela Hunt. I even would google things to see pictures of the terebinth tree
that Nathan sat under. This book really but a whole new aspect to a visual in reading books.
Even if you are not a christian you will still enjoy this book and I pray that it will put interest into reading the bible and becoming a christian.

Here are the first few  sentences from the beginning of the book. First chapter is Bathsheba:
 Spring, 996 BC
The first time I saw King David, I was sixteen and he was behaving like a man possessed. The procession carrying the holy Ark of the Covenant was moving slowly down the street where we lived, and the pageantry of the parade mesmerized me. Scores of musicians preceded the Ark -- trumpeters, harpists, men who played the lyre, and singers with fine voices -- and dozens of the somber priests walked alongside them, their faces a study in reverences and sobriety.
Then I caught a glimmer of sunlight on a cherubim's golden wing. I clutched my fathers arm and wondered if I should hide my face from such a sacred site, but before I could ask, a rising cloud of dust caught my attention.

another part from the book for you.. This part is after Bathsheba and King David's encounter in his chambers so to speak. The prophet Nathan is speaking about a vision that Adonai gave him. For those that do not know, Adonai is the Hebrew name for God.
I had not seen everything in my vision. In His mercy, Adonai had spared me the violence of what must have happened after David learned the woman's identity, but I had seen enough to know that the Lord's anointed king had coveted a beautiful woman and sent for her. If David had only lusted, Adonai would have forgiven him,and the Lord would not have shown me the event.

What I shared with you from the book is just a taste and that is in the begining . This book covers so much more than just the encounter of David and Bathsheba. It will tell about Abigail,Tamar, David's other wifes. How his son murder and how Absalom tried to take King David's throne and succeeded.  How King David had to suffer for the rape. Solomon being promised to me the next king and build the temple. Bathsheba's sister Amaris being crippled and her marriage later, and King David's death and after.
Do your self a favor and read this book or give a gift to a friend.
*** Quote from the book to leave you with
Have mercy on your servant. Let me see what you would have me to see, hear what you would have me to hear, but remember I am only dust. Spare me what can be spared, but let me face what I must in order to serve you.
I received a Review Copy from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review and the options I have expressed are my own.

The book is 377 pages which includes 4 pages of references  that the author used for the book, 4 pages of an authors note  that Angela Hunt goes into detail and quite interesting to read about her progress on writing this book ect, and 2 pages of discussion questions that I believe you are to ask your self or others that have or have not read this book to discuss.

Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo

Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo

This book tells the tale of  of  a 4 year old child Colton that lives in Nebraska. Family is a very tight knit family. In case if you have seen the movie, I was impressed how closely they went by the book.
Colton has to undergo a surgery and next thing you know he is seeing things that his father did during the surgery. His father is a pastor and gets mad at God. Alot of people can relate during a sickness or death.
Colton has an out of body experience and knew things that he couldn't of known. Such as his mother having a miscarriage and it was a girl. Knowing his fathers grandfather. Through his son the family and the church community finds peace and grace.
This book is based on true events. Coltons father is author of this book. I enjoyed this book thought is was very  cute.
Included in this book are pictures.
I give this book 3 stars
Anyone will be able to enjoy reading this book or have the book read to.

Enjoying Where You Are on the Way to Where You Are Going by Joyce Meyer

Enjoying Where You Are on the Way to Where You Are Going

by Joyce Meyer
Joyce Meyer is one of my favorite Christian authors
I relate to her so much. God really uses her to explain things in a way that any woman can relate to and receive Gods word. I am so thankful for what the gifts God has given her teach others and she choose to use those gifts. Well, enough of me talking about Joyce lets talk about this book.
As most things with Joyce she finds a way to simply things and I am all for that, Less confusion and misunderstandings  the better. This book is filled with advice for almost any situation regardless of your age sex and problem you may be having.
Don't just take her word for it. As Joyce usually does she will give you where to find it in the bible and better than that she will list the verse and break it down for understanding.

Book is paperback and 206 pages.

HOW TO STUDY YOUR BIBLE
BY KAY ARTHUR

One of the better study guides out there. I like how it stays very clear as to what to do when you read. I like her approach on how to study the bible. The way she teaches she simplifies what most people makes difficult and helps you to become more focus on what your are reading how to understand it and less discouraged.
Helps those who needs a study guide for the bible.
I gave her a 4 star and not a 5 star is because the best way is to ask God for wisdom and understanding before you read the Bible . and you will get it. But nevertheless, a Great study guide to help anyone that needs that.
This book would be very good for youth groups or first-time beginner bible readers or even teachers to use to help their classes in my personal opinion

HELLO, CUPCAKE! BY KAREN TACK AND ALAN RICHARDSON

HELLO, CUPCAKE!  BY KAREN TACK AND ALAN RICHARDSON
Beautifully Illustrated pictures. I had to say that first because it is so true. This cupcake would make the first time baker make cupcakes look like they have done it for years. Filled with 230 pages of step by step instructions that are simple enough that if you can read you can do it.
The ingredients are not uncommon ingredients. Makes you feel like you are being taught by an instructor in culinary college but in a very simple way. This is one of my favorite cookbooks. I made a lot of the cupcakes when my children were younger and everyone including the teachers loved them. I took great pride knowing what was in them I do not like processed foods.
The Author Karen Tack is a cooking instructor  and a food stylist for Good Housekeeping, Womans Day, Parents, and many more magazines.

Even if you do not have children or are grown. When it comes to cupcakes  everyone turns young. I give this cookbook 10 stars.
The pictures in this book  make it very easy to understand what to do
Do yourself and everyone around  you a favor and buy this book
