The Kindness Challenge by Shaunti Feldhahn
I can not say enough about this book. I am a Christian so I personally enjoyed doing this myself. I have an online Bible study group and I encouraged the members of our group to do the same. If you are not a Christian, that is your choice, You do not have to be a Christian to simply be kind to someone. So, this book can still be for you. What Shaunti shows you are simple steps of how to help you improve any relationship with someone. Not only does she show you steps and a different outlook that what you may think, but she shows you how to change the way you look on them.
She also breaks it down for anyone day by day and simple quick steps you can do each day. At the end of the book, she goes a step further by showing husbands on improving their relationships with their wives and even shows them things to do each day for 30 days. Wives, she does the same thing for you to show to your husbands. I must warn you, though, it is not easy to do. You have to really put an effort into this. I am halfway through the challenge and I have failed on many occasions to be completely honest. But things that are in this book has kept me keep trying and she prepared me for many things. It has taught me what true kindness really is and what true love means. I have also gone a step further by adding love is patient and broke down what God wants us to show what love is to everyone. Thank you, Shaunti for being obedient on doing the gift that God has given you and writing this book and showing us all being kind is not always what we think it is.

31 Verses to Write on Your Heart BY Liz Curtis Higgs
31 Verses to Write on Your Heart
BY Liz Curtis Higgs
I really liked this book. The way this author writes about her own things that has happened in her life, really gave me inspiration. As a Christian woman, I often find myself needing encouragement advice. Not only did this book do this but it also goes with scripture on the advice she gives with her stories.
The gift she has to break down the Bible verses that I already knew and explain them further is a God sent gift.
I really do believe God uses her to talk to his children to better understand his word. It is almost as if God is right there talking to you.
Most importantly you can use this as a morning devotional because it does not take a long time to read a page each day and I like to incorporate what I learned from God with his Word and the authors breakdown. It helps me understand Gods words in more in depth.
I received this Book from Blogging For Books for free to give an unbiased review.
I was not required to leave a positive review but and honest one.

MIRIAM BY MESU ANDREWS
This book is a paperback of 384 pages. Cover and illustration is very welcoming. One of my favorite covers of the books I have read so far. Mesu Andrews the author, I believe have 5 other novels, This is the first one that I have read of hers and I really like the way she puts you in perspective of the character of Miriam. I found myself thinking and looking at the wonderful story I have grown up to love in a new outlook. Not different or changed just a new way. I love it . Thank you for your wonderful God given gift Mesu Andrews, I am very thankful you are using that gift in your writing.
When I read this book I found myself being able to understand and live through the Old Testament stories of Moses and what he went through and felt as being a Hebrew slave, as well as him being the life of the prince . I found myself feeling the emotions that all the characters must have felt. This author finds a way of bringing the stories to life with all the emotions without changing anything that in the precious book of the Holy Bible.
I am very impressed with this book and looking forward to reading another one of her novels.
I did receive this book for free from Blogging from Books in exchange of an honest review, I was not required to leave a positive review for this book but am happy to do so.

ALL IS BRIGHT
A devotional journey to color your way to Christmas
Written by NANCY GUTHRIE Illustrated by Lizzie Preston
This coloring book is just simply adorable and would be a perfect Coloring book for ages above 6 years old. The reason I am stating over 6 is only due that I feel that younger than that children may get discouraged due to lines on some things be a lot smaller. But would be a perfect age to read and show to any age.
What I like the best about this coloring book is mainly because you can do more than just color..
It is also a devotional for you to study everyday for the month of December. Of how Christ came to this earth and how you can involve him in your life. Which is very important to me .
The pages are made of card stock which will stop from bleeding through. When I color I personally use a mixture of different things, such as, coloring pencils, markers and gel pens. With this coloring book I have not had a problem with any of those bleeding through the next page.
Another cute thing that makes this coloring book different is that you can make it just for yourself as a devotional or involve the whole family from very young to very old. There is a Bible study, Devotional , and activities for each day.
Nancy Guthrie did a fabulous job with the book and the illustrations from Lizzie Preston shows what a God given talent she has. I am so thankful to both of these Ladies for creating this book. I can not wait to actually start it December 1st.
I received this coloring book as a gift from Tyndale House Publishing and very thankful I was able to review this book and leave my own personal opinion. I am never required to leave a positive review.

SALVAGE YARD OF SOULS JUSTICE PREVAILS? JOYCE CAROL GIBSON
SALVAGE YARD OF SOULS Justice Prevails??
JOYCE CAROL GIBSON
I bought this book as a Ebook the day it became available. Print copy will happen in the future. I must admit I could not put this book down. To be honest I was up till 4 am before I forced my self to put it down. I did not pick up the book until 2 days later only due to I had to get things done because if I picked up the book prior to doing daily duties that needed to be done they would be neglected.
The ebook is 565 Kb
Print copy will be 291 pages
Publisher is Brighton Publishing LLC;
Based on a true story.
So many feelings on this book after reading it. As soon as I finished the last word of the last chapter I instantly wanted to write a review.
The story is a true story. Everything in the book is true . Only the characters and the descriptions have been altered. Honestly, I need to share something. It is hard for me to read a book , any book, without my mind starting to wander and go to other thoughts. It is very hard for me to concentrate. I end up having to reread things for it to go into my brain. I find it VERY hard to pay attention to things. I did not have this happen to me during this book except one time. That one time was during a part in the book when Toni, the main character was talking about her husband. It just brought up some memories of my dear friend and I during childhood.
One of my favorite parts of the book is where Toni recalls when she met Loretta Lynn. Here is a part of the book that I copied and pasted.
"One of my most memorial times recorded proved my naivety. I was fourteen years old and working in my grandfathers restaurant. I liked working there because I could listen to the jukebox. We weren't allowed to listen to the radio or watch television, but the jukebox helped business.
Loretta Lynn came in with her husband and their preschool twins. I enjoyed hearing Loretta sing, but I had never seen a picture of her. She was hosting a rodeo nearby. I did not know it was her when she gave me a quarter to play the jukebox."
The story goes more in detail of how they met that day. It made me stop and think how we all need to be reminded to often to have the eyes and heart of a child. Fourteen is still a child in my eyes.
There are so many things in this book that can people can relate to. Whether you are a male or female. Child or adult. Christian or an unbeliever. Member of crime or Member of the police force.
One thing is in common we seek for answers and justice
I felt emotions after reading this book that I never thought a heart could feel. You mourned for the pain Toni felt and Demi endured. I wanted JUSTICE for them. Here is information that I copied and pasted from Amazon about the book.
Her unrelenting quest for justice in a corrupt system paves the road to Toni’s destruction. This is based on a true story of the injustices endured by a naïve jailer who subconsciously seeks resolve for crimes committed against her and her daughter in the early part of a bad marriage.
With a set distinction of right and wrong, and a stubborn will to never defer, Toni finds herself trying to police the police. After a decade of working at the sheriff’s department, Toni has recorded a plethora of wrongs by law-enforcement agents and the services for children. Because she knows too much, the sheriff and some of his followers diligently seek her fall.
What they do not know is that Toni has kept an ongoing journal since her teenage years. She carried a voice activated, mini-cassette tape recorder with her from the day she was interviewed for the job at the sheriff’s department.
Toni is harassed, arrested, and almost destroyed, but her attorney assures her that the journal is proof enough of the corruption, and evidence enough to win her case against the sheriff.
When the attorney turns on Toni, she is left with a decision to make. Physically and emotionally exhausted from the battle, defeated by politics, and spiritually wounded, will she seek justice on her own terms or will she allow God to have His vengeance? Her strong belief in God and her search for the right path has played an important part in her life so far. Forgiveness is essential, but so is justice. Is there a way to obtain both in the salvage yard of souls?
... Justice prevails?

Another thing I liked and thought was very interesting is, that prior to each chapter there is a poem that has a relationship to what went on the chapter previously and the chapter you are getting ready to read.
I had the opportunity to talk with the author and got a quote from her. Below is this quote.
"This is a true story. EVERYTHING in this story is true. Only the names have been changed and the descriptions of characters.' That is a quote from the Author Joyce Carol Gibson.
I found myself having a respect for the character of Toni. Toni has more strength than I believe she may know or realize. Toni became an inspiration to me. I have gained a respect for this character that I think we all can learn from. Demi her daughter has taught me the true meaning of forgiveness.
Most importantly this story has taught me the true meaning of hope and faith. How Trusting in God can and will change your life and like Job in the bible. .. Keep your eyes on the Lord and you will be able to endure anything.
The cover does the book justice in my eyes, because it does bring your attention knowing immediately that the story is about justice and at least a crime. It did bring me to me interested to at least read what the story is about. For those that do know me know I am not a reader that just reads any kind of genre of book. I like true crime, autobiography's, and Christian books.
If you find yourself wanting to know more you can read the first 3 chapters for free before buying the book. I would love to know your ideas on this book and what you may think about it. As always I welcome comments.

As requested by a follower and a reader here is some more information about the Daniel Diet. Best information is from the Bible.
I have included the verses in the bible that shows where I got this information.
Daniel 1:12-14 ( which I do ask to get your bibles and read that verses. )
Basically, Daniel is making a deal with the eunuch of King Nebuchadnezzar that him and his 3 friends will not eat meat that is sacrificed to idols of their god. and they will eat vegetables that are produced by seeds and produce seeds as well for 10 days. After 10 days they were in better condition than the men that ate the meat sacrificed to their god. For that reason Daniel and his men were allowed to continue.
As far as the fast according to Daniel 10:2-3
In those days, I , Daniel, was mourning for 3 weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, not did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
The three weeks Daniel is referring to is the Passover of Unleavened Bread. Which takes place in the first month of the Year.
The purpose of the fast is up to you. It can be used as a fasting to cleanse your mind, body, and soul and between you and God. When you fast for that reason you are not to let anyone know what and why you are doing. I recommend this because it will build your relationship with God closer and taking your eyes off the things in the world and trust God completely.
Another purpose could be to cleanse your body. Doing this you will not eat certain foods for a certain amount of time. I personally did this for 21 days and I only ate things that came from the seed, You will have to get creative . You will have to read the directions and as far as seasoning your foods you may but no additional preservatives or coloring can be added. So it is impartive that you read the directions. The book I have on my blog for review will explain all you need to know along with some great ways of cooking things.
Doing the Daniel Diet is fairly basic and easy.
Nuts, berries , vegetables, all natural, No preservatives, no coloring, no added anything that is not produced by seed. You can use olive oil as long as it is pure.
Can only drink water to flush out the toxins.
However sometimes not everyday I would make a berry smoothie and use water and pure juice I would squeeze.
As always result to the Bible for more information and there are several books and more resources are available online.
If you have further questions or want further information I would be happy to put my input. Just comment below.

Having A Marhta Home the Mary Way by Sarah Mae
Having Martha Home The Mary Way
31 days to clean a house and a satisfied soul
Sarah Mae
This is not your average cleaning and organizing book. This has nothing to do with physical cleaning. It is more so, to clean your mind and your home to be filled with love and welcoming God's grace and peace to be around you as well as be felt around you.
I struggled with this in my life and I can defiantly relate to things Sarah states in this book. I like to believe the author had went though the same struggles that I went through to be able to truly understand how I myself would see things and needed encouragement to get through the obstacles that was thrown in my way.
This book helped me , along with my Bible , to get through that.
Sarah Mae is a christian as well and the way she encourages others is so inspiring to want to do the same thing. I am so thankful for her perspective. She has a great gift that God gave her to help others.
I was never organized in anything and not the best housekeeper to be honest. After reading this book and not even meaning to I applied things that was given into this book and applied it to my cleaning and my life. I am not organized and happy.
I learned that you can clean your home inside and out , along with cleaning your mind with your bible studies and you will find joy and peace that you never realized you lived without.
Each day Sarah writes about a different thing about cleaning in a way that you can relate and it seems just like two girls sharing stories.
I must admit that you will put this to your way of doing things before you know it.
I received a copy of this book for reviewing purposes only. I read this book and the review is soley based on my personal opinions of this book. My words are my own and are uninfluenced and unbiased to any discount that may have been given. I did receive a copy of this book for free.
